The live casino is my favourite corner of Rivo. Slots are fun, but when I want to slow down, chat a little and watch real cards come out of a real shoe, this is where I go. I'd guess a third of my playing time now happens at live tables.

Rivo carries Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live, which means there's always roulette spinning, blackjack seats open, baccarat rounds every few seconds and game shows like Crazy Time and Monopoly Live running around the clock. Below I share my own sessions, the table limits I've seen, how the streams hold up on a phone and how my live winnings got paid out.

  • 3 studios Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live
  • 0.10 Lowest game show bet I've placed
  • 24/7 Tables open whenever I log in
  • About 1 day My live winnings to Neteller

My first night in the Rivo live lobby

I wandered into the live section on my second evening at Rivo, slightly bored after a dry run on slots. The lobby shows live thumbnails of every table, so you see the dealer and the current round before you even click. That alone pulled me in.

I sat down at Lightning Roulette with €0.50 chips, spread across a few numbers, and hit a 50x lightning multiplier on 17 within about twenty minutes. That was €25 from a fifty cent chip, and I was hooked on the live side from then on.

What I noticed straight away was how quickly tables loaded. Click, a second of buffering, and I was watching the wheel with my chips on the felt.

Evolution tables I play most

Evolution makes up the biggest share of the lobby, and it's where my regular tables are. Lightning Roulette for the multipliers, Infinite Blackjack because there's always a seat, and Speed Baccarat when I want quick rounds.

The game shows are the other draw. Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and Funky Time all run constantly, with hosts who are genuinely entertaining. I've laughed out loud at a Crazy Time host more than once.

  • Lightning Roulette, my go to table
  • Infinite Blackjack with unlimited seats
  • Speed Baccarat for fast rounds
  • Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and Funky Time game shows
  • Immersive Roulette for the slow motion camera angles

Live tables I play at Rivo, with the limits I've seen

The tables in my regular rotation and the lowest stakes I've been able to bet on them.

Game Studio Lowest bet I've seen Why I play it
Lightning Roulette Evolution 0.20 Random multipliers up to 500x
Infinite Blackjack Evolution 1 Always a free seat
Speed Baccarat Evolution 1 Rounds in under thirty seconds
Crazy Time Evolution 0.10 Four bonus games and a great host
PowerUP Roulette Pragmatic Live 0.20 Boosted multiplier rounds
Mega Wheel Pragmatic Live 0.10 Easy low stakes fun
Auto Roulette Ezugi 0.10 Quick spins without waiting

Limits are the ones shown in my lobby when I play, and individual tables can set their own minimums and maximums.

Ezugi and Pragmatic Live for something different

When Evolution tables feel too familiar, I switch to Ezugi or Pragmatic Live. Ezugi's roulette and baccarat tables have a different feel, a bit more relaxed, and some of their dealers have become favourites of mine.

Pragmatic Live brought PowerUP Roulette and Mega Wheel into my rotation. Mega Wheel in particular is a nice low stakes option when I just want something light on in the background while I chat at the table.

Having three studios means I've never once opened the live lobby and found nothing I wanted. There's always a table, at any hour, at a stake I'm comfortable with.

Blackjack and baccarat sessions, and the limits I play at

My blackjack is basic strategy and modest chips. On Infinite Blackjack I usually bet €2 to €5 a hand, and a good evening for me is coming away €40 or €50 up after an hour. The minimum there has been €1 whenever I've looked, which is great for slow sessions.

Higher limit blackjack tables are there too, with private looking setups and bigger minimums. I've watched a few hands at those, but I stay at my own level.

Baccarat is my quick fix. Speed Baccarat rounds take under thirty seconds, and I stick to the banker bet at €2 or €3. Last month a run of nine banker wins in a row made my week.

Check the limits shown on each table thumbnail before you sit down. They vary a lot between tables of the same game.

I mostly play live blackjack after work. Infinite Blackjack is my table, low minimum and never a wait for a seat. Paid in with Apple Pay in two taps. Cashed out €120 to Skrill and it came through the next day. Would like quicker chat at weekends, but no real complaints.

Game shows, and one Crazy Time session I still think about

Crazy Time is pure fun for me, not a strategy game. I put €0.20 on each of the four bonus segments plus a little on 1 and 2, and just enjoy the show.

One Saturday the top slot lined up a 10x multiplier with the Cash Hunt segment, and the wheel stopped right on it. My €0.20 turned into €96. I took a screenshot and sent it to two friends, both of whom now have Rivo accounts.

Monopoly Live is my second choice, a little calmer, and Mega Wheel from Pragmatic Live is my low stakes option when I'm only half paying attention.

Streams on my phone

A lot of my live play happens on my phone on the sofa. The streams adjust to the connection, and on home wifi they look crisp, cards and wheel numbers easy to read.

On 4G on a train I've had the picture drop to a lower quality for a few seconds, but I've never been kicked from a round or lost a bet. The betting buttons are well sized for a thumb, and the portrait layout on Lightning Roulette is surprisingly comfortable.

Live winnings, payouts and the welcome bonus

Live tables count for less towards the welcome bonus wagering than slots, so I cleared my bonus on slots first and moved to live afterwards. If you mainly want live play, you can leave the bonus box unticked and keep everything as clean cash.

Cashing out live wins works exactly like any other withdrawal. After that €96 Crazy Time hit and a decent blackjack evening, I withdrew €150 to Neteller and it arrived the next day. My e-wallet payouts have consistently landed in about a day.

Questions I get asked

Which live casino providers does Rivo have?

Evolution, Ezugi and Pragmatic Live. Evolution has the most tables, but I play all three.

What's your favourite live game at Rivo?

Infinite Blackjack for long relaxed sessions, Lightning Roulette when I want a shot at a multiplier.

Is Crazy Time available?

Yes, along with Monopoly Live, Funky Time and Mega Wheel. I play Crazy Time on Saturday nights mostly.

What are the table limits like?

I've bet as little as 0.10 on game shows and 1 on blackjack.

There are higher limit tables as well, each one shows its range before you sit down.

Do live streams work on mobile?

They work well on my phone. Crisp on wifi, and on 4G the quality dips now and then but I've never lost a round.

Can I use the welcome bonus on live tables?

You can, but live games count for less towards wagering. I cleared my bonus on slots and moved to live afterwards.

How fast are live casino winnings paid out?

The same as any withdrawal. My Neteller cashouts after live sessions have arrived in about a day.

Are the dealers friendly?

Very. Several of them chat away while dealing, and a couple of the Crazy Time hosts are the reason I keep coming back.
